The Health Fund

The HealthFund raises money for 20 health-related organizations. Some of the specific disease funds include:

The Alzheimer's Association
Children's Cancer Research Fund
Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International

Donations to The HealthFund are distributed 90% to program expenses. 10% is the fundraising and administrative expense, well below the 30% recommended by the Minnesota Charities Review Council.

The health agencies conduct programs in health services, health education and health research. The HealthFund manages some programs which collectively represent all member health agencies, such as The HealthFund of Minnesota Web site, HealthTopics, HealthVolunteer(TM), and HealthStory(TM).
