The United Way

In addition to organizations such as the Girl Scouts and the YMCA, the United Way helps many inner city agencies serve the most disadvantaged of our community by raising money for over 300 programs representing over 100 social service agencies in the greater Minneapolis area.

ADC's long-standing involvement with the United Way campaign is a great opportunity for us to deliver our commitment to the community -- and we do it with passion by committing to be a "PACESETTER" by running a successful and early campaign.

Our people in all facets of work participate in various ways to our successful campaign -- farmers markets, silent auctions, bake sales, golf putting contest, hoop challenges, jail and bail, art fairs and picnics help our ADC's people have fun while also contributing to our community.

ADC's campaign centers around our theme, "In Our Backyard" which describes how no one is guaranteed immunity to the problems of today's society. United Way funds services that help our friends, families, neighbors and co-workers when a crisis occurs.
